Travel Itinerary
Day 1 - Welcome to Jackson Hole
Arrival: Airport pickup from Jackson Hole Airport (JAC)
• Accommodation: 3-star rustic park lodge or vacation residence in Jackson Hole (3 nights)
Upgrade available to 4-star boutique hotel upon request
• Afternoon: Explore Jackson Town Square, stroll under iconic elk antler arches, and admire festive holiday lights
• Dinner: Welcome dinner at a local favorite such as Hand Fire Pizza or The Bunnery
• Transportation: AWD 15-passenger charter minibus equipped with snow tires, chains, and child seats as needed.
Day 2 - Jackson Hole & Grand Teton
• Morning: Hot breakfast at your lodge
• Activity: Scenic sleigh ride at the National Elk Refuge, gliding through herds of elk surrounded by mountain views
• Midday Excursion: Winter wildlife tour through Grand Teton National Park
- Highlights include Jenny Lake, Snake River Overlook, and panoramic views of the Teton Range
- Wildlife sightings may include moose, wolves, bison, and bighorn sheep
• Evening: Cozy bonfire & hot chocolate gathering
Day 3 - Wildlife Safari & Optional Winter Adventures
• Morning: Breakfast at the lodge
• Half-Day Private Wildlife Safari in Grand Teton (heated vehicle with spotting scopes & binoculars)
• Visit: Grand Teton National Park Visitor Center
• Afternoon at Leisure / Optional Activities (Not included in base price):
- Dog sledding
- Snowshoeing
- Snow tubing
- Skiing/snowboarding
- Spa or wellness sessions
- Ice skating under twinkling holiday lights
• Evening: Free time to explore Jackson Hole or relax at your lodge
Note: Day 3 includes scheduled ski activities. Please note that ski passes, equipment rentals, and related items are not included in the base package. This is due to the complexity of pricing, as ski facilities typically offer a variety of options such as half-day or full-day passes. Additionally, rental fees for ski equipment can vary depending on the guest’s height and weight. We’re happy to assist guests in arranging ski services tailored to their preferences and needs.
Day 4 - Scenic Drive to West Yellowstone via Idaho
Morning: Optional winter activities in Jackson Hole (see above)
• Lunch: Local restaurant in Jackson
• Afternoon: Scenic drive along the western slope of the Tetons through Idaho
- Take in views of Grand Teton’s 13,777-ft peak
• Arrival in West Yellowstone
• Dinner: Dinner at a local Montana eatery
• Accommodation: 2-night stay at a rustic 3-star lodge or luxury vacation cabin in West Yellowstone
Day 5 - Yellowstone National Park Snowcoach Adventure
Full-Day Guided Tour by Snowcoach:
- Visit to Old Faithful, with stops at Fountain Paint Pots and other geyser basins
- Enjoy scenic vistas, geothermal wonders, and winter wildlife including bison and elk
• Lunch: At the historic Old Faithful Snow Lodge or packed picnic in the park
• Evening: Return to your lodge for a cozy evening indoors
Day 6 - Mammoth Hot Springs & North Yellowstone Glamping
• Route: Drive through Paradise Valley to Mammoth Hot Springs
• Activity: Guided walk among steaming travertine terraces and thermal features
• Accommodation: Furnished tipi or glamping cabin at North Yellowstone Getaway
- Complete with full-size kitchen and camp-style luxury
• Evening: Gather around the campfire for s’mores and stargazing
Day 7 - Wildlife in Lamar Valley & Optional Nature Hot Springs
• Morning: Private wildlife-viewing safari in Lamar Valley, known as the “Serengeti of North America”
- Look for wolves, elk, bison, moose, and more
• Midday Options:
- Continue your guided exploration with snowshoeing or hiking
- Or soak in Yellowstone’s natural hot springs
• Evening: Dinner on your own in Gardiner, then return to your glamping accommodation
Day 8 - Scenic Drive: Big Sky, Hebgen Lake & West Yellowstone
• Route: Scenic drive from North Yellowstone to West Yellowstone via Big Sky and Hebgen Lake
• Afternoon: Explore local shops and enjoy New Year’s Eve festivities in West Yellowstone
• Dinner: Optional dinner at a local restaurant
• Accommodation: 3-star rustic park lodge in West Yellowstone
Day 9 - Optional Snowmobiling & Return to Jackson Hole
• Optional Morning Activity (extra cost):
Half-Day Snowmobiling Adventure through West Yellowstone’s 600 miles of groomed trails
- Gear included: helmet, boots, suit, and mittens
- For ages 5+ (drivers must be at least 14 years old)
• Scenic Transfer: Return to Jackson Hole via Teton Valley
• Accommodation: Final night at a 3-star lodge in Jackson Hole
Day 10 - Departure from Jackson Hole
• Morning: Transfer to Jackson Hole Airport (JAC) for departures by noon
• Farewell: Say goodbye to your guide and the snowy magic of Yellowstone & the Tetons

- The travel agent is not responsible for any injuries, damages, or losses caused to any traveler as a result of any unforeseen circumstances outside of the travel agent’s control. This could include but is not limited to: disease, weather conditions, criminal acts, social unrest, or mechanical failures. Guests are encouraged to purchase travel insurance.
- Itineraries may change due to unforeseen issues such as flight arrival and departure times and road and weather conditions.
- Confirmation will be received within 48 hours of booking, subject to availability.
- Salt Lake City Airport (SLC) Pick-up - Guests are requested to arrive at the airport before 09:00 AM. Later arrivals may require changes to the itinerary and additional fees.
- At least two people are required to schedule a tour. If you’re a solo traveler, please contact us and we’ll help you join another group.
- Booking early is highly recommended as availability is limited.
- Children five years or younger may not be able to participate in all of the activities listed on the itinerary. If you have children who are five years or younger, please let us know so we can make adjustments.
- If cancellation occurs 30 days prior to the start date of the tour, the cost of the tour will be rolled over into a credit that must be used within six months of the original tour date. Alternatively, we could refund 50% of the total tour cost back to the card. This credit can be used towards the cost of any tour offered by Nomad Unlimited Adventures. 1. Choose either: Jackson Lake Cruises (05/15 – 09/30) or Yellowstone Lake Cruises (06/10 – 09/11).
2. Choose one: Enjoy the Wild West Rodeo at Yellowstone, which takes place from 06/17– 08/20 (Excluding Sunday & Monday nights throughout August 20). In case some guests miss out due to unforeseen circumstances, the tour will instead visit Yellowstone Grizzly & Wolf Wildlife Park. - Please Note: Complimentary seasonal activities dates and times subject to change based on time, weather, and trail conditions. Complimentary seasonal activities are not refundable if they cannot be arranged.
