Travel Itinerary

Day 1 - Salt Lake City - Idaho Falls

Salt Lake City

If we have time after we have picked you up from SLC International Airport, we will also explore a bit of Salt Lake City itself.

Temple Square*
Temple Square is often seen as the heart of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints (LDS), also known as the Mormons. Back in the late 1840s when LDS pioneers first reached Utah, they decided to build a temple so that there would be a safe place to worship. From there, the church grew outwards across Utah, then throughout the United States, and then throughout the world. Temple Square is still the global headquarters for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints to this day. Besides the Salt Lake City temple, Temple Square also contains other historic buildings such as the Tabernacle, the Beehive House, and the Conference Center.

Utah State Capitol*
Modeled after the US Capitol Building in Washington DC, the Utah State Capitol Building is stunning. This brilliant piece of architecture is the center of government for all of Utah, containing the chambers for the Utah State Legislature, the chamber for the Utah Supreme Court, and the office for the Utah Governor. In addition to its important role as the seat of government for all of Utah, the Capitol Building also holds incredible pieces of artwork depicting the history of the state.

Idaho Falls
Here is where we will stop to eat lunch, and check out the man made waterfall that the town is named after.

*These attractions are based off of travelers' arrival time. If travelers arrive too late in the day, they won't get the chance to explore these areas. However, there may be a chance to visit some of this locations towards the end of the tour.

Day 2 - Yellowstone National Park - West Yellowstone

Yellowstone National Park
After experiencing the beauty of the Grand Tetons, we will continue the adventure to Yellowstone National Park. One of America’s most famous National Parks, Yellowstone is sure to amaze even the most experienced traveler with its many natural wonders, hot springs, geysers, rivers, lakes, waterfalls and canyons. Today we will visit 9 attractions of Yellowstone.

1. Old Faithful Geyser
2. Grand Prismatic Spring
3. West Thumb Geyser Basin
4. Yellowstone Lake
5. Mud Volcano
6. The Grand Canyon of Yellowstone/Artist Point
7. Norris Geyser Basin
8. Mammoth Hot Springs
9. Sheepeater Cliff

West Yellowstone
West Yellowstone is a small town immediately west of Yellowstone National Park. After arriving in West Yellowstone, you’ll be able to eat dinner and then explore the town’s many gift shops. Finally, we’ll drop you off at your hotel, giving you time to rest and prepare before the next day’s journey.

Day 3 - Yellowstone National Park – Grand Teton National Park - Salt Lake City

Yellowstone National Park
After breakfast, we will drive back to Yellowstone to finish any attractions we started yesterday.

Grand Teton National Park
Afterwards, we’ll travel to Grand Teton National Park to explore the Teton mountain range. Here, we’ll visit sights such as Jenny Lake and Coulter Bay at Jackson Lake. This area is especially beautiful for flora lovers, as summer wildflowers paint the mountain valleys with vibrant colors.

Jackson Hole
In the morning, we will visit a quaint Western town in Wyoming called Jackson Hole, known for its artwork and antler arches. Head on down to Town Square where 19th century log cabins sit side by side with contemporary Western architecture while exploring the downtown area. Depending on time, we will either stop for lunch here or somewhere before/after Grand Teton National Park.

Salt Lake City
If you choose to depart from Salt Lake City, your tour guide will drop you off either at the airport or a hotel of your choosing.

Special Add-Ons: Visit West Yellowstone’s famous attractions by helicopter to see the entirety of the national park.
