Day 1 - USU Dinosaur Museum - Goblin Valley State Park - Capitol Reef National Park
USU Eastern Prehistoric Museum
After we pick you up from Salt Lake City national airport, we will then start the tour at the USU eastern prehistoric Museum. Here, you can discover what life was like when dinosaurs still roamed the earth. View real dinosaur bones, full body dinosaur mounts, and even some items from the Fremont people and mammal skeletons from the Ice Age.
Goblin Valley State Park
The “goblins” in Goblin Valley get their name from the thousands of unique hoodoos, or columns of weathered stone, that dot its surface. In this State Park, there are no official paths, allowing you to walk up close to the hoodoos and take pictures. If time permits, your tour guide will take you on a hike to Goblins Lair, an incredibly tall cave.
Capitol Reef National Park
This national park is known for its white domes and its Waterpocket Fold, a large geologic fold of stone that runs for almost 100 miles. This fold is also known as a "wrinkle on the Earth" as that is essentially what happened, the earth's tectonic plates buckled the earth's surface. This area is also popular for its Fremont influence, as pictographs and artifacts are commonly found here. We will also explore the remnants of Fruita and if we are lucky, may even be able to taste some fruit from the orchards.
Day 2 - Bryce Canyon National Park - Grand Staircase - Escalante National Monument
Bryce Canyon National Park
From its beautiful pink and white cliffs to its thousands of hoodoos, Bryce Canyon National Park is sure to leave a powerful impression on you. This park features many incredible, easily accessible viewpoints that provide excellent locations that offer excellent opportunities for photography. For the more adventurous, your tour guide will take you down into the canyon along the Navajo Loop/Queen’s Garden Trail, passing through breathtaking rock formations that took thousands of years to shape.
Kanab
The small town of Kanab is a common stopping point for visitors to Southwest Utah. Due to its spectacular red sandstone cliffs and unique plants, Kanab has been used as the set of many famous Hollywood shows and movies, including the Lone Ranger, Planet of the Apes, and Arabian Nights. While in Kanab, you will see the alluring Pink Coral Sand Dunes, the impressive Moqui Sand Caves, and if time permits, the magnificent Toadstools and Horseshoe Bend.
Scenic Byway 12
Route 12 is known as one of the most scenic roads in the US. This 124-mile highway cuts through steep sandstone canyons and narrow winding roads, offering incredible views that are a must see amongst visitors. In addition, multiple national and state parks dot this road, including Bryce Canyon, Capitol Reef and Grand Staircase-Escalante.
Grand Staircase Escalante National Monument (Pass By)
The 1.88 million acres of land that make up Grand Staircase-Escalante National Monument is considered some of the most remote in the US. Although we won’t have time to stop, you’ll appreciate the vastness and beauty of this region.
Day 3 - Toadstool Hoodoos - Horseshoe Bend - Antelope Canyon* - Red Heritage
For this day, your tour will include one of the following two experiences

Toadstool Hoodoos
This easy 1.5 mile hike allows for travelers to see the beautiful hoodoos in the area. Named after their mushroom like shape, these hoodoos are great for those who want to get an up close of the attractions. There are also a few canyons in the area for those who want to see beautiful views, truly having something for everyone!
Horseshoe Bend
Experience one of the Southwest’s most iconic natural wonders. A short, scenic walk (approximately 1.5 miles round-trip) leads you to the stunning overlook of Horseshoe Bend, where the Colorado River makes a dramatic 270-degree curve through the vibrant red sandstone cliffs. From the edge of the overlook, enjoy breathtaking panoramic views and capture unforgettable photos of this geological marvel, especially striking at sunrise or sunset. Your guide will share insights into the area's geology, history, and cultural significance, making this stop both visually spectacular and enriching.
Accessibility Note: The trail is not fully wheelchair accessible, but those with limited mobility may still be able to enjoy parts of the path with assistance. Visitors are encouraged to wear sturdy footwear, bring water, and prepare for sun exposure.
Antelope Canyon
With the help of a knowledgeable Navajo guide, you’ll be able to explore this incredible region well known for its picture-perfect landscapes. In fact, this region in Antelope Canyon is one of the top ten destinations for photography in the world! Following our adventure to Antelope Canyon, we’ll stop at Horseshoe Bend, after which you’ll be taken to Page, Arizona for a quick bite to eat at a local eatery.
Red Heritage
Red Heritage Indigenous show with dinner. Immerse yourself in Navajo culture at this unique Native American dinner theater. The experience features powwow dancing, flute performances, live drum music, and a traditional Navajo taco dinner served on fresh frybread.
Day 4 - Zion National Park - Mystic Hot Springs* - Salt Lake City/Las Vegas
Zion National Park
Zion National Park offers gorgeous wind-sculpted canyons and hikes along incredible trails. This park has something for everyone; for those who would prefer minimal hiking, you will love the intricate patterns found on Checkerboard Mesa and Weeping Rock. For amateur hikers, you will enjoy the stunning views from the Canyon overlook Trail and Riverside Walk. For experienced hikers, you will have the choice to hike the Narrows.
Mystic Hot Springs (Only available if departure is in Salt Lake City)
Following Zion National Park, we will head over to the Mystic Hot Springs, a rustic hot springs reminiscent of the hippie-counterculture movement of the 70s. These springs are the perfect place to relax, as the mineral containing water from these springs will not only keep your skin healthy but will also help you relax and unwind after the busy previous days.
Salt Lake City
Settled in 1847 by a group of pioneering Mormons, Salt Lake City has blossomed into the vibrant capital of Utah. If time permits, your tour guide will take you to see the twin hearts of the city, Temple Square and the Capitol Building.
Temple Square
Temple Square is often seen as the heart of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints (LDS), also known as the Mormons. Back in the late 1840s when LDS pioneers first reached Utah, they decided to build a temple that would be the center of their religious society. From there, the church grew outwards across Utah, then throughout the United States, and then throughout the world. Temple Square is still the headquarters for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints to this day, containing other historic buildings such as the Tabernacle, the Beehive House, and the Conference Center. You'll love observing the beautiful architecture of these buildings while learning about the history of these early pioneers.
Utah State Capitol
Modeled after the US Capitol Building in Washington DC, the Utah State Capitol Building is stunning. This brilliant piece of architecture is the center of government for all of Utah, containing the chambers for the Utah State Legislature, the chamber for the Utah Supreme Court, and the office for the Utah Governor. In addition to its important role as the seat of government for all of Utah, the Capitol Building also holds incredible pieces of artwork depicting the history of the state.
Las Vegas
If you choose to depart from Las Vegas, unfortunately, you will miss the opportunity to visit Mystic Hot Springs. Your tour guide will drop you off at either the airport or a hotel in Las Vegas around noon.

- We recommend that you give your tour guide a gratuity equal to 10% of the tour price (e.g. if the tour is $2000, we recommend giving your tour guide a $200 gratuity)
- The driver/guide is not responsible for delays or cancellations caused by traffic or road conditions, weather, or other causes over which it has no control
- The driver/guide has the right to make itinerary adjustments based on unusual road, traffic, and weather conditions. Tour Guide
- Driver Hours: Itineraries are subject to review by a safety officer of the Company. Federal Department of Transportation safety regulations prohibit drivers from being on duty more than ten (10) hours per day, of which are for driving (including a 30- minute pre- and post-trip vehicle inspection). The driver must be given eight (8) consecutive hours off before he/she may resume his/her duties.
