Travel Itinerary
Day 1 - Arrive in Anchorage
Arrive in Anchorage, Alaska’s largest city and main transportation hub. Meet your guide for one-time airport pickup or take the hotel’s complimentary shuttle. Check in at the hotel after 3 PM and get settled for your Alaskan adventure.
Day 2 - Talkeetna Day Tour
Travel north to Talkeetna, a small, historic town known for its rustic charm and clear views of Denali on sunny days. Enjoy free time in town or choose from optional excursions like Denali scenic flights, river jet boat rides, ziplining, or ATV adventures. Return to Anchorage in the evening.
Day 3 - Seward & Exit Glacier
Head south along the Seward Highway toward the seaside town of Seward. Stop at the Alaska SeaLife Center to see local marine life up close. In the afternoon, choose between visiting Exit Glacier for a short hike or joining a local dog sledding experience (optional). Afterwards we will return to your hotel in Anchorage.
Day 4 - Whittier & 26 Glacier Cruise
Travel to Whittier via the Anton Anderson Memorial Tunnel. Board the 26 Glacier Cruise and explore the majestic Prince William Sound. See dozens of glaciers, floating ice, and marine wildlife like sea otters, sea lions, and whales. Lunch included on board. Return to Anchorage by evening.
Day 5 - Free Day or Optional Bear Viewing
Enjoy a flexible day in Anchorage. You can relax or join an optional full-day bear viewing tour to Katmai or Lake Clark National Park (advance booking required). This is a great opportunity to see Alaska’s famous brown bears in the wild.
Day 6 - Matanuska Glacier Hike
Travel to Matanuska Glacier, located about two hours from Anchorage. With a guide, hike across this massive, blue glacier with included safety gear. Along the way, enjoy sweeping mountain views and explore deep ice crevasses. Afterwards we will travel to your Anchorage hotel.
Day 7 - Anchorage City Tour & Departure
Spend your final day exploring Anchorage. Visit Earthquake Park, Lake Hood Seaplane Base, and enjoy panoramic views from Flattop Mountain. Stop for souvenir shopping at Anchorage’s Fifth Avenue Mall before transferring to the airport in the late afternoon.
