Itinerary

+ Day 1: Arrive to Anchorage – Palmer – Girdwood
Your guide will pick you up in the Anchorage area for our adventure to begin! We will head to our first stop at the Caribou & Musk Ox Farms in Palmer to get up close and personal with Alaska animals. Guests will have a chance to feed and touch caribou and be up close to a moose! We will then head to the beautiful Alyeska Resort to take a tram ride to the top of the ski lift for beautiful scenic views!

+ Day 2: Girdwood – Bear Viewing Flight (Brooks Falls or Lake Clark) – Girdwood

Girdwood
A day of flying through the beautiful Alaska scenery and watching brown bears! Our pilot will stop at areas where brown bears have been sighted providing guests with up close picture taking opportunities. June guests will see brown bears in their breeding areas while July guests will be able to see the world renowned brown bears fishing at Brooks Falls! Bears may be seen fishing for salmon, digging for clams, playing with each other, nursing or simply enjoying a nap in the sun.

+ Day 3: Free Day in Girdwood
Guests will have a free day to explore the area and may choose from a variety of optional activities. Popular options include fishing charters in Whittier, hiking via the Alyeska Aerial Tram, guided bear viewing excursions, or a scenic cruise through Prince William Sound from Whittier. Visitors may also enjoy sea kayaking in Prince William Sound, helicopter glacier hiking, scenic flights over the Chugach Mountain Range, or a summer sled dog adventure. Tours to Kenai Fjords National Park are also available, though guests must arrange their own transportation. All activities are optional and must be booked independently prior to arrival. Guests are responsible for arranging transportation to and from their chosen activity in advance.

+ Day 4: Girdwood – Denali National Park

Denali National Park
Today we depart for Denali. Along the way, we will make several stops at scenic viewpoints and photo opportunities to take in Alaska’s beautiful landscapes. As we travel through the countryside, your guide will share insights into the region’s history, culture, and natural surroundings.

+ Day 5: Activities in Denali National Park
Guests will have the opportunity to choose from a variety of optional adventures in the Denali area. Popular activities include guided hiking, flightseeing tours over Denali and nearby glaciers, rafting on the Nenana River, ATV excursions, Jeep trail rides, horseback riding, and guided fly-fishing. Guests who wish to participate in any of these experiences must arrange their bookings in advance and inform the guide so transportation to and from the activity can be coordinated.

+ Day 6: Denali National Park Wildlife Viewing Visitors often have the chance to spot incredible wildlife, including grizzly bears, caribou, Dall sheep, golden eagles, and moose roaming the vast landscape. On clear days, guests may also catch a glimpse of Denali, the tallest peak in North America. Rising to 20,320 feet, this iconic mountain is one of the famed Seven Summits and a dream destination for climbers and travelers alike.

+ Day 7: Denali – Anchorage

Denali Sled Dogs
Today we will visit the famous sled dogs of Denali National Park. These hardworking dogs play an important role during the winter months, hauling supplies and assisting park staff with research projects across the snowy backcountry. In the summer, they enjoy a more relaxed pace while visitors have the chance to learn about their unique role in the park. After departing Denali, we will stop in the charming town of Talkeetna for lunch. Guests will also have the option to take a scenic train ride to Anchorage before concluding the tour and saying our goodbyes.
