Itinerary
Day 1: Arrive in Cairo
When you arrive at Cairo International Airport, our English-speaking representative will meet you and assist with arrival formalities, including obtaining your entry visa and collecting your luggage.
We will then transfer you to your hotel for check-in and an overnight stay in Cairo.

Day 2: Full Day in Cairo: Visit the Great Pyramids
After breakfast at your hotel, we will pick you up for a morning visit to the Giza pyramid complex. These pyramids are monumental tombs built for Egypt’s pharaohs. You will see the Great Pyramid of Giza, the only surviving wonder of the ancient world and the world’s tallest human-made structure for nearly 4,000 years.

Day 3: Grand Egyptian Museum, Citadel, and Khan el-Khalili
After breakfast at your hotel, your English-speaking Egyptologist guide will take you to the Grand Egyptian Museum near the Giza pyramids. Your guide will share the stories behind the artifacts as you explore the collection. We will then have lunch at a local restaurant before continuing to the Citadel of Salah al-Din, a medieval fortress that served as the seat of government and helped defend Cairo. Finally, we will visit Khan el-Khalili, one of Egypt’s most famous markets.

Day 4: Fly to Aswan, Aswan Visits and Nile Cruise Overnight
After breakfast at your hotel, we will transfer to Cairo International Airport and fly to Aswan. Upon arrival, we will board our Nile cruise. After lunch, we will visit the Aswan High Dam, the Temple of Philae, and the Unfinished Obelisk. The High Dam was built to control Nile flooding and generate hydroelectric power. We will reach the Temple of Philae, dedicated to the goddess Isis, by motorboat on Agilkia Island. We will then visit the Unfinished Obelisk before returning to the cruise for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 5: Optional Abu Simbel Visit and the Temple of Kom Ombo
After breakfast on the cruise, guests who select the optional excursion will travel by private, air-conditioned vehicle to Abu Simbel. The two temples were built during the reign of Ramses II. The Great Temple honors Ramses II and the gods Amun, Ra-Horakhty, and Ptah, while the smaller temple honors Queen Nefertari and the goddess Hathor. After lunch aboard the cruise, we will arrive in Kom Ombo and visit its unique double temple, dedicated to Sobek and Haroeris. We will then return to the cruise for dinner while sailing to Edfu, where we will stay overnight.

Day 6: Visit the Temple of Edfu, Luxor East Bank
In the morning, your guide will take you to the Temple of Horus in Edfu, one of the best-preserved temples in Egypt. Later, we will reach Luxor’s East Bank and visit the Karnak Temple Complex, one of the largest religious complexes ever built. Its central precinct is dedicated to Amun-Ra. We will also visit Luxor Temple, begun by Amenhotep III during the 18th Dynasty and later expanded by Ramses II. In the evening, an Egyptian folklore show will be presented aboard the cruise.

Day 7: Luxor West Bank and Transfer to Hurghada
After breakfast, we will check out of the Nile cruise and visit Luxor’s West Bank, beginning with the Valley of the Kings, an ancient royal burial ground. After lunch in Luxor, we will visit the Mortuary Temple of Hatshepsut at Deir el-Bahari and the Colossi of Memnon, two enormous statues of Pharaoh Amenhotep III. We will then transfer you to your hotel in Hurghada.

Day 8: Hurghada Red Sea Snorkeling Trip
We will pick you up from your hotel for a snorkeling excursion and island visit on the Red Sea. You will snorkel at several sites featuring coral reefs and colorful fish and may have an opportunity to see dolphins. The excursion also includes time on Giftun Island, water activities, and a buffet lunch aboard the boat. We will then return to the marina and transfer you back to your hotel.

Day 9: Hurghada Free Day or Optional Submarine Trip
Optional excursion: You will be picked up from your hotel for a two-hour underwater trip aboard the Sindbad Submarine. The submarine descends to a depth of up to 22 meters, offering views of coral reefs and colorful fish. No scuba-diving experience is required.

Day 10: Transfer to Cairo
After breakfast at your hotel in Hurghada, we will transfer you to the airport for your flight to Cairo. Upon arrival, we will transfer you to your hotel for an overnight stay in Cairo.

Day 11: Departure from Cairo
After breakfast at your hotel, you will check out. We will then transfer you to Cairo International Airport for your flight home.
