About this Tour

This 10-day journey follows a carefully structured route through Jordan’s most significant historical and natural landmarks. Beginning in Amman, the program explores the capital’s Roman heritage and key museums before continuing north to Jerash and Ajloun. Traveling south along the King’s Highway, the itinerary connects Madaba, Mount Nebo, Shoubak Castle, and Petra in a cohesive progression.

A full day is dedicated to Petra’s archaeological site, followed by a desert experience in Wadi Rum. The journey then continues to Aqaba on the Red Sea and concludes with time at the Dead Sea, including a visit to Ma’in Hot Springs.

+ Day 1: Queen Alia International Airport — Amman Hotel

Arrival & Transfer
Upon arrival at Queen Alia International Airport in Amman, our representative will be waiting to greet you with a name sign. They will assist you in obtaining your free visa and guide you through customs. Afterward, your driver—also holding a name sign—will meet you in the arrivals hall and transfer you to your hotel in Amman for an overnight stay.

+ Day 2: Amman Hotel — Amman City Tour — Jerash — Dead Sea Hotel

Amman City Tour
After breakfast, your driver will meet you in the hotel lobby to begin your guided tour of Amman. You’ll explore the Roman Theatre and the historic Citadel, followed by a short walking tour through the bustling downtown area.

Jerash
Next, you’ll travel to Jerash (ancient Gerasa), one of the best-preserved Roman provincial cities in the world. Here, you’ll discover an impressive collection of Roman ruins, including at least 15 churches scattered throughout the site. Following your tour of Jerash, you will be transferred to your hotel at the Dead Sea for overnight.

+ Day 3: Dead Sea Hotel — Bethany Beyond the Jordan — Dead Sea Hotel

Bethany Beyond the Jordan
After breakfast, you’ll head to Bethany Beyond the Jordan, the historic site believed to be where John the Baptist lived and baptized Jesus — a location referenced in the Bible (John 1:28 and 10:40) as well as in Byzantine and medieval texts. This sacred area is also linked to the biblical story of the Prophet Elijah (known as Mar Elias in Arabic), who is said to have ascended to heaven in a whirlwind aboard a chariot of fire.

After your visit, return to your hotel at the Dead Sea to rest, relax, and enjoy an overnight stay.

After breakfast, begin your day with a visit to Mount Nebo, the revered site where Moses is said to have gazed upon the Promised Land before his passing.

Madaba
Next, continue to Madaba to explore the historic St. George Church, home to the famous mosaic map — one of the oldest known cartographic depictions of the Holy Land.

Shoubak Castle
From there, drive to Shoubak to visit the impressive Crusader Castle, perched dramatically on a hilltop with sweeping views of the surrounding landscape. After exploring the castle, you’ll be transferred directly to Petra for an overnight stay.

The Siq & The Treasury
Today is dedicated to discovering the magnificent ancient city of Petra, one of the New Seven Wonders of the World. Begin your journey by walking through the narrow, winding Siq — a dramatic canyon that opens up to reveal the awe-inspiring Treasury, Petra’s most iconic monument.

Street of Facades, Theater & Colonnaded Street
Continue your exploration along the Street of Facades, past the grand Theater, and down the Colonnaded Street, where temples and marketplaces once thrived. After lunch inside the archaeological site, choose to hike up to the Monastery or ascend to the High Place of Sacrifice for sweeping views of the valley below. While both routes involve considerable climbing, the stunning vistas and ancient carvings make the effort truly worthwhile.

Following your day of adventure, return to your hotel in Petra to relax and spend the night.

After breakfast, depart for the Wadi Rum Visitor Center to begin your desert adventure. You’ll embark on a 4-hour guided jeep tour — the ideal way to explore the dramatic landscapes and hidden gems of Wadi Rum. Along the way, your driver will stop at key sites, giving you time to walk, scramble over red sandstone formations, and even climb some of the stunning naturally formed rock bridges.

Following the tour, you’ll head to your desert camp in Wadi Rum, where a traditional dinner awaits. Enjoy the serene beauty of the star-lit desert before settling in for an overnight stay.

Crossing into Egypt
After breakfast, drive to Aqaba port and board a ferry for your departure from Jordan, arriving in Egypt. You will be met and assisted at the Taba Border crossing, then transferred to your hotel in Cairo for an overnight stay.

Giza Pyramids & The Sphinx
After breakfast, meet your Egyptologist guide at 8:00 AM to begin your full-day journey through Egypt’s ancient wonders. Your first stop is the iconic Giza Plateau, where you’ll explore the legendary Pyramids of Cheops, Chephren, and Mykerinos, along with the majestic Sphinx. Take time to enjoy panoramic views and capture unforgettable photos of these world-famous monuments.

Saqqara
Next, travel to Saqqara to visit the Step Pyramid of King Zoser — the oldest stone structure of its kind — and explore the Pyramid of Titi, where you can admire the unique pyramid texts inscribed inside. You’ll also visit remarkable tombs from the Old Kingdom, such as those of Ti or Mereruka, with well-preserved reliefs depicting daily life in ancient Egypt.

Memphis
After lunch at a local restaurant, continue to the ancient city of Memphis, the former capital of the Old Kingdom and home to the god Ptah. Visit the Open-Air Museum and see the colossal statue of Ramses II. After the tour, return to your hotel in Cairo.

Enjoy breakfast at your hotel before meeting your Egyptologist tour guide for a full-day exploration of Cairo’s rich history and culture. Begin with a visit to the world-renowned Egyptian Museum of Antiquities, home to an extensive collection of Pharaonic artifacts, including the dazzling golden treasures of King Tutankhamun.

Citadel of Saladin & Mohamed Ali Mosque
Afterward, continue to the Citadel of Saladin, perched high above the city, where you’ll tour the magnificent Mohamed Ali Alabaster Mosque — an iconic symbol of Islamic Cairo. Take in sweeping views of Cairo before heading to a local restaurant for lunch.

Coptic Cairo & Khan El Khalili Bazaar
In the afternoon, discover the spiritual heart of the city in Coptic Cairo, visiting ancient churches and holy sites, followed by a stroll through Islamic Cairo. Explore the bustling Khan El Khalili Bazaar, where you can shop for spices, jewelry, and souvenirs in a vibrant, historic setting.

After breakfast, set out on a full-day excursion to the coastal city of Alexandria via the desert highway. Begin your tour with a visit to the modern Library of Alexandria — a stunning piece of contemporary architecture inspired by the ancient library once hailed as the greatest in the ancient world.

Roman Amphitheater & Qaitbay Citadel
Next, explore the Roman Amphitheater, discovered in 1960 and believed to date back to the 4th century BC. With its distinctive marble steps, this unique structure stands as one of the most well-preserved Roman remains in Egypt. Continue on to the 16th-century Qaitbay Citadel, built on the original site of the legendary Lighthouse of Alexandria and overlooking the Mediterranean Sea.

After your cultural tour, enjoy lunch at one of Alexandria’s top local restaurants. In the late afternoon, return to Cairo and proceed to your hotel for overnight.
