Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival At Cairo International Airport – Cairo Overnight
We will pick you up from Cairo International Airport and transfer you to your hotel in Cairo so you can have a rest.
When you arrive in Cairo, you’ll be met by our English-speaking representative who will help and assist you with all formalities, including getting the entry visa and bag assistance. We will then transfer you to your hotel for check in and overnight in Cairo.

Day 2: Full Day In Cairo – Visit the Great Pyramids – Sphinx – Sakkara – Memphis
After eating breakfast in your hotel, we will pick you up to visit the Great Pyramids in the morning. These pyramids are the monumental tombs of Egypt’s pharaohs. Here we will also visit The Great Pyramid (one of the original Seven Wonders of the World), most notably known for its sheer size and height, being the world’s tallest man-made structure for nearly 4,000 years.

Day 3: Visit The Egyptian Museum – Citadel and Khan El Khalili – Cairo Overnight
After your breakfast at your hotel, we will pick you up and start your day with a tour by our English-speaking Egyptologist guide and visit The Egyptian Museum, with the guide giving helpful tidbits along the way. This is widely considered to be one of the most important museums in the world, as it houses Pharaonic monuments, including the gold mask belonging to King Tut and the statue of King Khufu. Here we will have the chance to visit the Mummies’ Room, which houses 20 royal mummies including one of Egypt’s most famous female pharaohs, Queen Hatshepsut. We will take lunch at a local restaurant before continuing on to the Old Cairo area, so that we can visit the Citadel of Salah El-Din. This building was known as a secure center for Saladin’s new regime and protection from Crusaders. Finally we will take you to Khan El Khalili, known as Egypt’s most famous market.

Day 4: Fly to Aswan – Aswan Visits and Nile Cruise Overnight
After your hotel breakfast, we will transfer to the Cairo Airport and fly to Aswan. When we arrive, we will check in for our overnight Nile Cruise. The cruise will include lunch, and then we will visit the High Dam, the Temple of Philae, and the Unfinished Obelisk. The High Dam was built to help protect Egypt from Nile flooding, and was controversial at the time. The Temple of Philae (created to worship the goddess Isis) we will reach by motorboat, as it is on Agilika Island. We will finally visit the Unfinished Obelisk, which you will be allowed to walk on top of, thanks to wooden walkways. After this we will return to the cruise for your overnight stay.

Day 5: Optional visit to Abu Simbel – Visit the Temple of Kom Ombo
Breakfast will be on the cruise, and after we will (if desired) transfer to Abu Simbel in a private air-conditioned van and visit the temples there. These temples were built for Ramses II, serving as a display of power and wealth. The land the temples were originally built upon was called Meha. The first (and biggest) temple we will visit is dedicated to the famous Egyptian god Ra in his form Ra-Horakhty. The second temple was dedicated to the Egyptian goddess and Ramses’ wife, Queen Nefertari. After lunch on the Nile, we will arrive at Kom Ombo city and visit the Temple of Kom Ombo, dedicated to the gods Sobek and Haroeris, the ancient gods of the Nile and the sky. We will then get back on the cruise and have dinner while sailing to the city of Edfu. We will stay overnight on the cruise.

Day 6: Visit the Temple of Edfu – Luxor East Bank
In the morning, the guide will take you to the Temple of Horus in Edfu, one of the best preserved temples in Egypt. Later in the afternoon, we will reach the east bank of Luxor, which contains the Karnak Temples Complex, one of the largest religious complexes ever built. The main building was built for Amun Ra, seen as the house for the god on earth. Later we will visit the Temple of Luxor, which was begun by Amenhotep III during the 18th dynasty and later expanded by King Ramses II. Later in the night, an Egyptian folklore show will be presented on the cruise.

Day 7: Check out from the Nile Cruise – Visit Luxor West Bank – Travel to Hurghada
After breakfast on the cruise, we will check out of the Nile Cruise. We will then visit the West Bank of Luxor, which includes the iconic Valley of the Kings, a royal cemetery. We will then have lunch in Luxor. After lunch we will visit the Temple of Queen Hatshepsut in Deir El Bahari. At the end of the day we will visit the Colossi of Memnon, two enormous statues of an 18th Dynasty pharaoh. After this we will transfer you to your hotel in Hurghada.

Day 8: Hurghada Red Sea Snorkeling Trip
We will pick you up from your hotel for a fantastic snorkeling trip with desert island relaxation on the beautiful Red Sea. We will snorkel at different spots full of corals and magnificent colorful fish, with a chance to swim with dolphins, and enjoy the water sports activities on Giftun Island and the national park, with an open buffet lunch aboard the cruise. We then return to the jetty and transfer you back to your hotel.

Day 9: Hurghada Free Day or Optional Submarine Trip
(Optional) You will be picked up from your hotel for a fantastic underwater trip lasting two hours aboard the SINDBAD SUBMARINE, to discover the wonderful marine life of the Red Sea. The only submarine in the Middle East, it carries 44 passengers and has a crew of two pilots who take you on a wonderful trip beneath the surface of the Red Sea. It descends to a depth of up to 22 meters, where you can see different kinds of coral reefs and colorful fish. You do not need to be a scuba diver to experience this.

Day 10: Transfer to Cairo
Breakfast at your hotel in Hurghada in the morning, then transfer from Hurghada to Cairo by plane. We will drop you off at your hotel in Cairo and spend the overnight in Cairo.

Day 11: Cairo Airport – Home
Breakfast at your hotel and then check out. After this we will transfer you to Cairo International Airport to fly back home.
