Itinerary
Day 1: Salt Lake City – Idaho Falls
If we have time after we have picked you up from SLC International Airport, we will also explore a bit of Salt Lake City itself.
Temple Square*
Temple Square is often seen as the heart of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints (LDS), also known as the Mormons. Still the headquarters of this global church, we see the reconstruction of the Salt Lake City temple, Temple Square also contains other historic buildings such as the Tabernacle, the Beehive House, and the Conference Center.
Utah State Capitol*
Modeled after the US Capitol Building in Washington DC, the Utah State Capitol Building is stunning. This brilliant piece of architecture is the center of government for all of Utah, containing the chambers for the Utah State Legislature, the chamber for the Utah Supreme Court, and the office for the Utah Governor.
Idaho Falls
Here is where we will stop to eat lunch, and check out the man made waterfall that the town is named after.
*These attractions are based off of travelers’ arrival time. If travelers arrive too late in the day, they won’t get the chance to explore these areas. However, there may be a chance to visit some of these locations towards the end of the tour.

Day 2: Yellowstone National Park – West Yellowstone
Jackson Hole
This morning we leave Idaho Falls for Jackson Hole, a classic Western town known for its art galleries, cowboy character, and the antler arches in Town Square, built from thousands of shed elk antlers.
Grand Teton National Park
From there we head into Grand Teton National Park, where the jagged Teton Range rises straight up beside Jackson Lake. We will stop at the best viewpoints and watch for wildlife, including moose, elk, bison, and the occasional bear.
Yellowstone National Park
Next we continue into Yellowstone, one of America’s most famous national parks, full of hot springs, geysers, lakes, waterfalls, and canyons. We will begin its signature sights today and see the rest on Day 3.
West Yellowstone
We finish in West Yellowstone, just outside the park’s west gate, with time for dinner and the shops before checking into the hotel for the night.

There is even a special event where kids get to compete!
Note: Complimentary seasonal activities dates and times subject to change based on time, weather, and trail conditions. Complimentary tours are non-refundable if they cannot be arranged. If your itinerary does not allow for attendance at the Wild West Yellowstone Rodeo, your tour will instead include a morning visit to the Yellowstone Grizzly & Wolf Discovery Center.

Day 4: Mesa Falls – Idaho Falls – Salt Lake City
Mesa Falls
Mesa Falls stands out as one of the last natural waterfalls on the Snake River, untouched by dams or development. Lower Mesa Falls tumbles through volcanic rock, its waters cutting into layers of solidified lava. Upstream, Upper Mesa Falls plunges over remnants of an ancient eruption, a dramatic reminder of the region’s fiery geologic past.
Idaho Falls
Here is where we will stop to eat lunch, and checkout the man-made waterfall that the town is named after. After the short walk to stretch and move around, we will get back on the road.
Lava Hot Springs
Here we will take some time to relax and soak in mineral hot springs. The hot spring temperatures range from 102 – 112 degrees Fahrenheit.
Note: If you would not like to participate in the activities at the natural hot spring, your tour guide will take you an alternate attraction. Please contact us so we can provide the alternative options and help choose the best one for you.
Salt Lake City
After driving back from the hot springs, we will return to Salt Lake City, dropping you off at the airport or hotel of your choice.
