Itinerary

+ Day 1: Salt Lake City – Idaho Falls – Rexburg

If time permits after pickup from Salt Lake City International Airport, we will explore parts of Salt Lake City.

Temple Square*
The heart of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, featuring historic buildings including the Tabernacle and Conference Center.

Utah State Capitol*
A neoclassical landmark modeled after the US Capitol.

Antelope Island State Park
Located near Salt Lake City, Antelope Island is home to free-ranging bison, pronghorn (antelope), bighorn sheep, and many other desert animals. In addition to these larger animals, millions of birds line the shore offering unmatched bird watching opportunities. Here you also have amazing views of the Great Salt Lake and the opportunity to take a dip in the lake.

Rexburg
In the evening, we’ll drive to Rexburg and spend the night there after dinner in Idaho Falls.

+ Day 2: Rexburg – Jackson Hole – Grand Teton National Park

Jackson Hole
Here we will stop for lunch and explore the area known for it’s cowboy culture, artwork, and antler arches.

Grand Teton National Park
Your tour guide will drive you through Yellowstone and reach Grand Teton National Park. This national park gets its name from the Teton Mountains that run through the park, one of the youngest mountain ranges in North America. We will take you to these mountains as well as Jackson Lake and Jenny Lake. Take a cruise on Jackson Lake while also getting a good view of Mount Moran. Learn a bit about local history, geology, and folklore and take in the sights, With knowledgeable guides, you will also learn about the flora and fauna that surrounds the lake. Jenny Lake is also an option to tour, please ask us for more details if you are interested.

+ Day 3: Yellowstone – West Yellowstone

Yellowstone National Park
Over the next few days we will explore more than 13 major attractions found in Yellowstone National Park.

West Yellowstone
West Yellowstone is a small town immediately west of Yellowstone National Park. After arriving in West Yellowstone, you’ll be able to eat dinner and then explore the town’s many gift shops. Finally, we’ll drop you off at your hotel, giving you time to rest and prepare before the next day’s journey.

+ Day 4: Finish Yellowstone National Park Exploration

We will finish visiting the rest of the places in Yellowstone that we didn’t get to yesterday.

+ Day 5: West Yellowstone – Glacier National Park

Between West Yellowstone and Glacier

In the morning, you will get a choice of one of the following activities included with the tour:

  • Ziplining
  • Horseback riding
  • Fly fishing

Glacier National Park
Besides being known for its’ many glaciers, Glacier National Park also boasts beautiful hikes and scenery along the way. Over the next two days, experience the following sites: Two Medicine: Enjoy a relaxing boat cruise and be ready to take pictures of the stunning landscapes. Running Eagle Falls: This double fall is part of a short nature walk. Named after the Pikuni Tribe member Running Eagle. She was an incredible warrior and tribe leader who eventually was buried in this area. Non-hiking options are available as well.

+ Day 6: Glacier National Park

Glacier National Park
Today you will have a choice to visit Apikuni Falls and/or Red Rock Falls

  • Apikuni Falls
    A 2-mile roundtrip hike (1 mile each way) with just over 600 feet of elevation gain. This easy hike offers views of two waterfall tiers: a dramatic free fall from the cliff and a cascading flow down the mountainside.
  • Red Rock Falls
    Approximately 4 miles roundtrip with about 200 feet of elevation change, rated easy to moderate. Upon arrival, you will see several smaller waterfalls surrounding the main falls, spilling over red rock formations. Be sure to wear sturdy footwear, as the rocks near the falls can be slippery.

+ Day 7: Scenic Drive in Glacier National Park – Glacier Park International Airport* – Butte
Trail of the Cedars
This 1 mile boardwalk takes you through the forest floor of Glacier National Park and beside Avalanche Creek.  This is an easy walk, about 0.7 miles, just enough to stretch the legs out.

*Customers have the option of flying from Glacier International Airport at Day 7 at noon. Otherwise, you can join the tour guide back to SLC on Day 8.

​If we have time in the morning, we will spend some more time checking out the area and its attractions.

Lava Hot Springs
Here, we’ll take some time to relax and soak in natural mineral hot springs. The water temperatures range from 102–112°F, offering a soothing and rejuvenating experience. Contact us for alternate destinations, if you do not wish to participate in the hot springs.

To accommodate any possible traffic delays during our trip, please ensure that your flight is scheduled for 7 PM or later. We will take you directly to the airport to be dropped off.
